Behind the large summer house on the north coast of Crete, a pine grove has grown over the years. Here, between the tall slender trees, a new pool is to be built. Instead of seeking the sea view, the pool turns to the panorama of the nearby mountains. The pool and terraces form a loose U-shaped group that echoes the architecture of the pre-existing house, respects the existing trees and interlocks with the garden.
