The Greek island of Samos lies only a a few kilometers away from the Aegean coast of Turkey, in a geographical, cultural and political hot spot. The Schwarz Foundation acquired a series of old houses in the village of Chora in order to transform them to house art fellows in the future. In a preparatory feasibility study, we layed the conceptual groundwork for the future reconversions.
