The staff building of the General-von-Stein barracks in Freising has been empty for some time. The Freising District Administration acquired the building in 2020. In December 2020, in the wake of the Corona crisis, a vaccination center had to be made available within a very short time on the instructions of the Bavarian State government. The west wing of the staff building was renovated, transformed and turned into a fully functional vaccination center in just 3 weeks. In addition to the design of a protected counter for the reception of vaccination patients, we developed the furnishing concept for the spaces.
