The harbor area of Hard at the Lake of Constance is a generous and elongated landscape close to the entry point of the Rhine into the lake. The scale of the headlands, the harbor basin and its dikes are surprising when compared to the size of the town itself. The proposal intends to clear this generous landscape from existing obstacles and integrate the existing outdoor swimming pools into the continuity of the lakeside promenade. A panoramic restaurant acts as a hinge between the pools and their newly proposed elongated service building as well as the new harbour plateau and the yacht club building.
