Adalbert Hall is the northwestern entrance hall to Munich's Ludwig-Maximilians-University. It is a hidden gem within the large building complex of the main building of the University, constructed in the 19th and early 20th century. The wing of Adalbert Hall itself is an addition from the post war period. A fact that becomes only apparent when entering the hall, with its architecture full of details from the 1950s. The hall, which is underused today, will be renovated respecting its original details, and transformed in order to accommodate a new space where students can gather and work. The interventions will be in tune with the specific yet hybrid architecture of the building.
